Pomme

Pomme unveils her new project "Saisons". A conceptual, orchestral album that is out of the box.

This opus is conceived as a theatrical act in two movements: "autumn-winter" out now, and "spring-summer", out in spring.

These two acts, though separate gives us life to the "Seasons", where each title is placed in resonance with a month of the year. A powerful project that aims to surprise, and once again demonstrates the artist's singular artistic vision.

After three critically acclaimed albums, "A peu près" (2017), "Les Failles" (2019) and "consolation" (2022), Pomme has won the hearts of an eclectic audience, not least through exceptional concert productions. The album "Saisons", in fact, was born during the preparation of an unprecedented series of orchestral concerts during her "consolation tour". This experience, conducted with conductor Malvina, inspired Pomme to create a new album combining folk music and classical heritage.

It's also a project that Pomme wanted to be collaborative, inviting other talents to interpret the seasons in their own way, through images as well as music. After "consolation", Pomme once again teams up with Flavien Berger, who brings an electronic touch to the project and co-composes the autumnal act dubbed "magie mauve", a nod to their previous creation "magie bleue". A collaboration between friends in which the boundaries between musical styles disappear, giving way to boundless creativity.

The winter movement, entitled "carte de noël", was composed with American musician and producer Aaron Dessner, a member of the band The National, who notably worked with Taylor Swift on her albums "Folklore" and "Evermore". A folk enthusiast in perfect symbiosis with Pomme's musical sensibility, with whom she composes the focus track of this first edition of "Saisons": "_dec carte de noël". This track sounds like a nursery rhyme tinged with mystery and melancholy, with an unshakeable sweetness, to be listened to by the fireside in anticipation of the festive season.

Since last January, Pomme has been on tour throughout France and Europe. She gave two exceptional concerts, both sold out, at the Zénith in Paris, accompanied by the orchestra that accompanies her on this new album.

In 2024, Pomme will embark on a U.S. tour and plans a residency in Japan at the end of the year.
