For the 2013–14 One-On-One Mentorship Program, Southern Exposure’s mentors and mentees meet each week at Southern Exposure in preparation for their final group show exploring the theme of “illusion.” Collaborating to interpret this theme, the mentees work across media, using digital video, photography, drawing, printmaking and painting. Mentors and mentees will design their final project along with the Spring 2014 Youth Advisory Board Artists, transforming Southern Exposure’s gallery space into an illusory space filled with messages for the future.
