As the weather warms and transitions from winter to spring, music fans eagerly begin checking their calendars in anticipation, looking for which concerts are coming to Bay Area. Specifically, when it comes to outdoor shows, there’s nothing better than a day in the sun, with friends, listening to great music. With that in mind — and with all due respect to Karl the Fog, your ever-present loving hugs are not always welcomed — the region will be transformed by stage after stage of amazing outdoor performances.

Of course, there are the traditional big four: Outside Lands, Stern Grove music series, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and Portola. But the number of shows at outdoor venues is deep and wide.
