Sound Meditation Benefit Concert— For Near and Far

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Come clear your mind and support those affected by the recent tragedies near and far: Almost a month after Irma & Maria hit in Puerto Rico, most of the island's residents still lack access to clean drinking water and electricity. The US Virgin Islands, getting far less publicity, are struggling to recover from the storms as well. It's serious, and the official response has been underwhelming, to say the least. At the same time, we've got local crises going on— with the Tubbs fire displacing 22,000 residents, burning property. There are community members that are taking the lead on aid and we want to help. There's help that's needed both near and far.We are doing a benefit sound bath with all the proceeds going to those affected by the recent tragedies abroad in the Carribean and close to home— in Sonoma and Santa Rosa. 100% of profits will be donated:33% to Direct Relief (Puerto Rico + more)33% to All Hands Volunteers (US Virgin Islands)33% to local aid for the fires in Sonoma & Santa Rosa.
----
A sound bath is a soothing concert that brings you to your deepest state of meditation. Our evening will feature 38" Paiste gongs, over two dozen huge crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bronze bowls, shamanic drums, hang drums, Native American flutes, Koshi chimes, Tingshe chimes, bells, and more. During the event, participants lie down and are bathed head to toe in sound— it's a very hypnotic, ethereal experience. You will come away with a clear mind, and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of sound. We strongly recommend this event for people who have trouble meditating, or feel like they just "can't get there." Give this a try :).
