Nan Hai Company is dedicated to cultural and education exchange between China and the United States.
To this end, Nan Hai Company has three major divisions:
The Book Division includes a retail and online stores. We offer the biggest collection of learning Chinese textbooks and reference materials, Chinese Culture textbooks, Business Chinese textbooks, books on HSK, Pinyin and Dictionaries.
The Education Division runs several programs designed for non-native speakers of Chinese, including study tours to and from China, and preparatory classes for Chinese proficiency exams required of all foreign students planning to study in China.
The Nan Hai Arts Center, established in 1990, hosts and sponsors cultural and artistic exchange activities. The Arts Center houses a fine arts gallery - the largest gallery showcase for Chinese fine arts in the Bay Area - which has brought dozens of exhibitions of contemporary painting, calligraphy, photography, and crafts from China.
