Living Colors, the 2017 GLBT Historical Society Gala, promises to be our biggest and most fabulous yet!
Hosted by Marke Bieschke of 48 Hills & The Stud and Alex U. Inn of Momma’s Boyz & KINGDOM! Entertainment by Honey Mahogany of RuPaul’s Drag Race and opera sensation Breanna Sinclaire. Join us for dinner and a silent auction that will be brimming with entertainment and fun inspired by LGBTQ history. Auction highlights include unique art, photography, queer memorabilia, travel and fine-dining packages and other exceptional lots.
At this year’s gala, we celebrate the vibrant history and diversity of the LGBTQ community as we announce our acquisition of the artwork, memorabilia and personal papers of rainbow flag creator Gilbert Baker (1951–2017). Colorful performances and decor will highlight our shared experience, as we come together to honor Baker's inclusive vision, recall the LGBTQ past and toast our community's future.
Your support ensures that the GLBT Historical Society will continue to fulfill our mission of preserving and presenting our history through our archives and museum. Thanks to you, we can grow our collection of important historical materials, showcase them in the museum and preserve them for the benefit of future generations. You will also be helping the GLBT Historical Society as we plan for a new, world-class museum in San Francisco.
On line ticket sales are restricted to individual tickets ($150) and VIP tables of ten ($1250).
