Cryoknaut is our first Hype Can release. The Hype Can Series are what we like to refer to as Foggy IPAs. The base beer is brewed like a New England Style Hazy IPA with a ton of specialty malts/adjuncts, which we aggressively hop like a West Coast Style IPA.
Cryoknaut is brewed with maris otter, crystal 15, white wheat and flaked oats. We then add a ridiculous amount of Equanot hops during the whirlpool. After the beer was fermented we took it through an absurd dry hopping using CRYOGENIC MOSAIC hops.
The result is a very citrus forward, juicy IPA, with a strong hop bitterness and 7% ABV.
This beer will be available exclusively from the distillery and the Outer Sunset Taproom starting October 18th. We will be selling 4-packs of 16oz cans for $17 and are putting a limit of four 4-packs per person.
We are only canning 150 cases of this beer and expect it to sell out. Each ticket is valid for one four pack. Pickup starts on October 18th and the last day to pick up your cans is October 29th. If you are unable to pickup your cans by the 29th they will be considered forfeited.
There will be 300 4-packs available for pre-sale online, and the rest will be available from our retail locations for on-site consumption or to-go.
