Hotline Wetsuits was established in 1979 by Brenda Scott Rogers. Brenda followed the natural transition from women's surfing pioneer to a leading female role model in the surf industry. Brenda translated the same drive, conviction and love of surfing into an unparalleled business philosophy a philosophy that revolves around quality, innovation and integrity.
This is why Hotline has never lost sight of it's original intended purpose: to design, manufacture and distribute the highest-quality performance oriented surf accessories and wetsuits available in the world. It's an ideal we continually strive towards; and like our employees, our loyal customers have embraced the benefits of this straightforward, hype-free approach. Hotline never places fashion above function. We make our wetsuits to handle and withstand the judgement of Mavericks, and not the fashion industry. And this standard, this strategy, has made a world of difference in the caliber of products we offer.
Inspect our hand-tied surf leashes (yes, we still make them one at a time, by hand, for the highest quality assurance), or compare the level of concentration our factory employees put into the small but imperative details like stitching, cuffing, gluing. Then, and only then, can you appreciate all the elements that indicate the pride we have in the products we build and sell.
