The Bay Area Glass Institute, also known as BAGI, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and educating glass artists, students and the entire community at large. BAGI offers a wide range of glass making opportunities for all levels of glass art enthusiasts at its San Jose based studio. Various types of classes taught include Glassblowing, Fusing and Flameworking. We offer support for amateur and expert artists alike in their efforts to produce fine works of art. All of these activities are designed to generate excitement about glass art, provide an opportunity for us to describe glass-forming techniques and answer questions, and to allow the public to meet glass artists.
